The strawberry New York cheesecake can I add fresh strawberries to make it flavoured?

I'm not sure that fresh strawberries in the batter would work out well. They might get a bit wet and tasteless by the time they were baked up in it. You'd be much better off just baking it as it is then adding a strawberry topping. These roasted strawberries are amazing with it and end up saucy once cool. I'd double the recipe so you have plenty. If you have any roasted strawberries leftover once the cheesecake is gone they are great with ice cream, oatmeal, pancakes etc. https://avirtualvegan.com/vanilla-roasted-strawberries/
Hope that helps!
