No pancake, waffle, or bowl of oatmeal is complete without a pile of gloriously golden, irresistible sticky, slightly chewy, Vegan Caramelized Bananas.
All you need are three ingredients. Bananas, brown sugar, vegan butter, (and a pinch of salt). You can add some cinnamon if you like but it's not essential.
They are so quick and easy to make! Cook them up and you'll have the most delicious sticky on the outside, creamy on the inside, beautifully golden banana nuggets to pile on your favorite things!

Ingredient Notes
- Bananas - These should be ripe but not too ripe.
- Brown sugar - I like to use dark brown sugar because it gives the bananas a deeper, more prominent caramel flavor than light brown sugar. Coconut sugar is a good alternative.
- Vegan butter - You can use homemade vegan butter or storebought. Coconut oil also works well.
- Salt - Just a pinch. This balances and enhances the flavor and sweetness of the caramelized bananas.
Serving Suggestions
Get excited and put those gorgeous nanas on all the things. First up I recommend my vegan banana pancakes and banana waffles. Then there's your morning oatmeal, overnight oats, vegan French toast, or yogurt. You will not regret adding them to my Cheats Banoffee Pie Bowl!
Next, it's time for dessert. Serve them over a bowl of vegan ice cream, on your banana bread with a scoop of ice cream, with chocolate pudding, or scattered over cheesecake. I've got 3 they would work with. Vegan New York Cheesecake, Vegan Biscoff Cheese, and Vegan Chocolate Cheesecake.
