Ingredients
3tablespoonsall-purpose flour, or gluten-free all-purpose flour
1tablespoonsoy sauce, or gluten-free soy sauce/tamari
2 cups (480ml)stock
INSTRUCTIONS
To a small pan add the flour, nutritional yeast, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and dried herbs.
Add the soy sauce, then gradually pour in the stock, stirring or whisking well as you go to work out any lumps.
Place over medium heat and stir/whisk constantly for about 4 or 5 minutes until thickened and glossy.
NOTES
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days or the freezer for 3 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight. Reheat in a small pan on the stovetop or in the microwave before serving. Thin with a drop of water or stock if necessary.
