This Pear Oatmeal comes together in only 10 minutes for an easy, healthy, and filling breakfast. Enjoy simply as it is, or top with perfect pear partners like chocolate chips, flaked almonds, or a drizzle of drippy almond butter!

Ingredients
½ cup (50grams)rolled or old-fashioned oats
1½ cups (360mls)wateror dairy-free milk
1tablespoonsugar, or maple syrup
1tablespoonalmond butter or almond flour/meal
1small pinchsea salt
1mediumpear, cored & diced (no need to peel unless you want to)
Add everything except about ¼ of the pear (reserve that for serving) to a small saucepan.
Cook slowly over medium-low heat until thick and creamy. Stir frequently.
Serve in a bowl with the reserved raw pear and toppings of choice.
NOTES
With this recipe, you can get away with using overripe or underripe pears. If a little crisp, just cook the oatmeal for a few minutes longer until the pear softens.
