Crispy golden crunchy Quinoa Crispies! This easy crispy quinoa is perfect for adding crunchy texture and nutty toasty flavour to all kinds of sweet and savoury meals. Keep some handy in the pantry so it's ready to sprinkle on everything from salads to soups and smoothie bowls!

Ingredients
2 cups (180grams)cooked & cooled quinoa
1tablespoonolive oil
½teaspoonfine sea salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pour the quinoa onto an unlined metal baking tray. Drizzle over the olive oil and sprinkle over the salt. Toss together really well with a clean hand, then spread out in a thin layer.
Bake for 15 minutes. Toss, then bake for another 10 to 15 minutes until deeply golden and crispy.
Or spread thinly on an air fryer-sized piece of parchment paper and gently place in your air fryer. Cook at 350F (175°C) for 13 to 15 minutes, tossing carefully halfway. You might need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Leave to cool completely on the tray. They will get crispier as they cool. Once completely cool transfer to an airtight container and store at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
NOTES
To make 2 cups of cooked quinoa you need ⅔ cup of uncooked quinoa and 1⅓ cup of water. Add both to a saucepan. Bring to a boil uncovered. Once boiling, reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes turn off the heat and leave covered for another 10 minutes. Allow to cool completely. This can be done up to 3 days ahead. Store in the fridge until needed.
